Open Heaven is a thriving and growing community, where you can encounter God and develop many good friendships. We are an active, passionate and contemporary church with a specific call to make disciples in 21st century culture.

We have two gatherings every Sunday. Our 18 - 30s expression, Open Heaven 1 (OH1), meets on the University campus in Room 1 at the Students Union at 3:30pm. Our family friendly expression, Open Heaven 2 (OH2), meets at 10:30am in Mountfields School, Loughborough.

You are very welcome to come along and join us at a Sunday gathering, where you will experience heartfelt, creative worship and life-filled, relevant talks from the Bible.

What do we do for students?

At Open Heaven we love students! The church was planted on campus 19 years ago and has always had students right at the heart of it as a church. We have around 80-100 students who are passionate about seeing Jesus move on campus in Loughborough!

We have Clusters that covers our missional outreach on campus: Halls, Sports, 'Life'. We have cells that run within each Cluster that meet weekly.

As well as that we have Socials, Welcome meals, Leadership development and are really passionate about discipleship whether that is one-to-one or within girls/guys mentoring groups.

We also really encourage people to dream big with God and think up new crazy ideas that we can support.

During freshers week we try to meet every Christian Fresher who has contacted us on their first days. We also run Club Mission most nights during Freshers Week so come and find us in the Chill Out room upstairs in the Union near the cloakroom. We really want to encourage you to get involved in the stuff that's going on in your halls and make lots of great friends.
